Why should I
employ a professional wedding photographer? By employing a professional, you can ensure many high quality images of your day. Many couples spend a long time planning their wedding in absolute perfection. All the things that make your day unique, from the dress, to the flowers, the cake and the favours need to be preserved in the images and a true professional will ensure that no detail is missed. Although many of your friends and family will bring along their cameras, by employing a professional you can ensure that all of your hard work, special details those once in a lifetime moments mean so much to you are recorded in beautiful pictures. Do you offer a retouching service? Yes, I offer a full
professional retouching service on all packages and can remove minor
blemishes and subtly whiten teeth to ensure you look your absolute best.
Retouching is only carried out at your request. Why are wedding
photographers so expensive? The prices of wedding photography tend to vary. My prices are based on the time I spend on your images. As a rough guide, for each hour spent behind the camera at your wedding it will take me a day to edit the images. This ensures that my pricing is consistent with the time I spend at your wedding and can be tailored to your budget. Many other photographers offer “packages” which many couples assume will include a wedding album or CD, please be aware that there is often is a separate fee to pay on top of the package price for these “extras”. My packages all clearly state what is included for the fixed fee. After all, who wants to pay a photographer a lot of money just to turn up for the day, only to find out later that to get their CD or album they have to pay extra?! Please see the special offers section for details of my wedding gift voucher scheme for how to get your wedding photography paid for. How many pictures
will I get? The number of
images you will get is dependent on the package you choose. Please view my
online brochure and price
list. |
Why should I choose you to
photograph my wedding? With more and more demand for photographers to cover
the whole wedding day in a reportage style it’s important to remember that
your photographer will be present during the traditionally female oriented,
often emotional and always exciting bridal preparation. Traditionally this is
a time for the women of the family and close friends to spend some quality
time preparing together and rallying round the bride supporting her and
ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
As a female photographer I always find my clients are more relaxed
with my presence, which really shows in the images. I offer a very relaxed
approach to your wedding photography and I am used to “rolling with the
punches”. My aim is to capture the moments as they happen without being an
intrusion on your day. Are you qualified? I have a BA (hons) in “Photography: Professional
Media”. In addition I have also passed a Professional Qualifying Examination
regulated by the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP). How soon will I get my pictures? I aim to have your images edited and supplied to
you on CD within two weeks of your wedding. For many couples this coincides
with the return from honeymoon. If you have chosen to pay in instalments,
images will not be supplied until payment has been made in full. Can I choose the
pictures for my album? Absolutely! I like to work with you and consult
you at every stage to ensure you get the album or storybook with the images
you want included. I am also happy to put together an album layout for you
and help you choose the images that will best tell the story or your day. Do I get an album
included? Packages start from just £695 for a CD only. There are no hidden costs and packages state clearly whether an album or storybook is included in the price, There really are no hidden costs! Please see the price list for a comprehensive list of packages. |
